BELL M4R, M5X DAYTONA VISORS, BHV576A

The visors are available in six options, clear, light smoke tint, gradient half tint, dark smoke tint, clear anti fog and light smoke tint anti fog.

Please select which colour you require from the option list .

These replacement visors fit the Bell M4R and M5X & DAYTONA  helmets, they replace the original 3.0mm thick visors with the part number OP62 . They are made from 2.0mm thick Lexan polycarbonate which offers a weight saving over the original visor without any loss of strength/ impact protection. They are tested to BSI standard requirements of a 6.0mm dia. steel ball being shot at them at 267mph and withstanding the impact.

They feature three position curved ratchet slots as shown in the picture below.

They do not fit the earlier Bell M5 helmets which had a lock down peg hole on the bottom edge .These helmets require our replacement visor part number BHV576.

THE VISORS ARE FITTED WITH TEAR OFF POSTS TO ALLOW THE FITTING OF TEAR OFFS ( BOB HEATH VISORS T011-TYPE ) TO HELP PROLONG THE LIFE OF YOUR VISOR AND GIVE CLEARER VISION IN AN INSTANT SIMPLY BY TEARING A FILM FROM YOUR VISOR.

The visors are all BSI approved and fully U.K. road legal apart from the dark tint option which is sold for off road use only as they are not certified for U.K. public road use.

The clear visors give give 97 % U.V. light protection and the smoke tint visors give 100 % U.V. light protection.

Made in the U.K. by Bob Heath visors Ltd from 2.0mm thick Lexan polycarbonate, all of these visors have an abrasion resistant coating on both sides apart from the clear and light smoke tint anti fog options, which have an anti fog coating over the inner surface of the visor and an abrasion resistant coating on the outer surface.

Tinted visors are recommended for daytime use only and are stamped as such as per the BSI standard requirement.

The visors are not pin lock ready, (no pin lock pins fitted).

The BHV Dark tinted race visor is not legal for U.K. public road use (and possibly other regions.
