This should be considered this as the MK1 AGV X3000 helmet as there are later versions with different visors – so please check before purchasing.

Description

These are 1.0 mm thick flat visors made to fit the AGV Ago and X3000/80 helmets from the 1980’s that had pivot fittings that require to be unscrewed to fit or remove the visor.This screw top fixed type helmet could be considered as the MK1 helmet. This was the very first X3000 helmet and there are later versions with different visors – so please check before purchasing that you are ordering the correct part. IF in any doubt please contact us for assistance.

The slightly later version of these helmets also made in the 1980’s were made so that the visor simply clips over the pivot fittings to retain them in position on the helmet. The visor on the clip over type helmets is longer in length and this BHV002 visor WILL NOT fit the clip over fixing type helmet – these helmets require our visor part number BHV54.

THIS VISOR MEASURES 31.4 cms BETWEEN THE INSIDE EDGES OF THE PIVOT HOLE SLOTS, AND 23.0 cms BETWEEN THE INSIDE EDGES OF THE LOWER STUD SLOTS.IF IN ANY DOUBT PLEASE CHECK THESE MEASUREMENT BEFORE PURCHASING.

THESE VISORS DO NOT FIT THE NEW 2017 ONWARDS AGV X3000 ‘LEGENDS’ LEG-1 HELMETS WITH 3D BUBBLE SHAPE VISORS.

The visors are BSI approved and fully U.K. road legal. They give 97 % U.V. light protection. The smoke tint visors have a light transmission of 50%

Made in the U.K. by Bob Heath visors Ltd from Lexan polycarbonate, these visors have an abrasion resistant coating on both sides.

Tinted visors are recommended for daytime use only and are stamped as such as per the BSI standard requirement.
