BRAND NEW REPLACEMENT VISORS FOR THE CLASSIC/VINTAGE SIMPSON M30, MONZA, RX1HELMETS FROM THE 1980,S .

THE VISORS ARE MADE IN THE U.K. BY BOB HEATH VISORS LTD FROM 1.0 MM LEXAN ABRASION RESISTANT COATED POLYCARBONATE PLASTIC.

THEY ARE FLAT VISORS THAT ARE SECURED IN PLACE VIA THE TWO TOP EDGE SLOTS THAT CLIP OVER THE HELMET PIVOT FITTINGS , AND THE TWO BOTTOM EDGE PRESS STUDS THAT FIX ONTO THE THE STUDS ON YOUR HELMET TO LOCK THEM DOWN IN THE CLOSED POSITION.

THESE VISORS ONLY REPLACE FLAT ORIGINAL SIMPSON VISORS, NOT MOULDED IE. CURVED SIMPSON VISORS SUCH AS ARE FITTED TO THE LATER BANDIT HELMETS AND THE VERY LATEST M30 HELMETS ,THESE HELMETS USE A MOULDED 2.0mm THICK VISOR AND DO NOT FEATURE PRESS STUDS.

THEY ARE AVAILABLE IN CLEAR, LIGHT SMOKE TINT AND DARK SMOKE TINT, PLEASE SELECT WHICH COLOUR YOU REQUIRE FROM THE OPTIONS LIST.

The clear visors are BSI approved and fully U.K. road legal, the light smoke tint and dark smoke tint option are non certified for off road use . They give 97 % U.V. light protection. The smoke tint visors have a light transmission of approximately 50% and the dark tint approximately 20%.

Made in the U.K. by Bob Heath visors Ltd from Lexan polycarbonate, these visors have an abrasion resistant coating on both sides.

Tinted visors are recommended for daytime use only and are stamped as such as per the BSI standard requirement.
