This listing is for a pair of 1.0mm thick small size clear motorcycle fairing side deflectors / screen extensions made by Bob Heath Visors in the U.K.
Please note that the illustration diagram is to give an indication of the possible mounting positions of this product on your fairing. The muffs are supplied in packets of two .
As used by many motorcycle racers ( both solo and sidecars ) over many years at such events as the I.O.M T.T. races and the Manx G.P. etc.on their race bikes.
They are designed to be fitted in pairs to the sides of your fairing to provide additional protection to your hands from stones/flies or rain, or they can be used singularly mounted on top of your fairing screen to extend its height, this deflects more wind/turbulence above your head ( similar to a double bubble screen).
They are made from 1.0mm thick Lexan polycarbonate plastic which is a very strong yet flexible material, and come complete with fixing screws. ( please note that drilling of the fairing or screen is required to fix them on but they can be held with strong double sided tape but obviously this is not as strong as screwing them on!).
The extenders are available in two options, clear uncoated material or clear abrasion resistant CTG coated plastic for longer life. Please select which option you require from the drop down list.
The extenders measure 220mm wide by 160mm deep. When used as a screen extender they give approx. an extra 2″ of height to the screen.
