BELL STAR 1, MOTORCYCLE HELMET REPLACEMENT VISORS

These visors fit the first version of the Bell Star helmet which is known as the mark 1.

They replace the original Bell visor with the part number 238.

This first version of the Star helmet uses a short visor which measures 31.5 cms between the inside edges of the
pivot hole slots, it should not be confused with the later Bell Star 2 helmet
which uses a longer visor ( 35 cms between pivot the inside edges of the pivot hole
slots )

These are 1.0 mm thick flat visors that are designed to be fitted by simply clipping over the two top edge pivot slots onto the pivot fittings on the helmet and then fastening the two bottom edge press studs to retain the visor in position

The clear visors are BSI approved and fully U.K. road legal, the light smoke tint and dark smoke tint option are non certified for off road use . They give 97 % U.V. light protection. The smoke tint visors have a light transmission of approximately 50% and the dark tint approximately 20%.

Made in the U.K. by Bob Heath visors Ltd from Lexan polycarbonate, these visors have an abrasion resistant coating on both sides.

Tinted visors are recommended for daytime use only and are stamped as such as per the BSI standard requirement.
