ARAI SAL TYPE REPLACEMENT RACE VISORS BHV533R

It is important that prior to ordering that you check the genuine Arai visor part number on your original visor to ensure that you are ordering the correct replacement visor – do not rely on the helmet model name as Arai have re-used many of these names over the years. Your oem visor part number can usually be found in the bottom left-hand corner of the visor as worn and has to state SAL – if your oem visor does not state this please contact us for advice.

These BHV533R visors replace Arai SAL type visors only -please see the picture of the genuine SAL type visor end which our visor replaces.

These visors do not fit Arai helmets that use Arai SAI type visors. These helmets require the Bob Heath BHV533i replacement visor.

THEY ARE FLAT FRONTED 2D TYPE RACE VISORS AND COME FITTED WITH TEAR OFF POSTS WHICH ALLOW FOR THE FITTING OF TEAR OFF FILMS ONLY NOT PIN LOCK INSERTS.

PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO MANUFACTURING TOLERANCIES ON ARAI HELMETS AND VISORS, SOME VISOR ADJUSTMENT MAY BE NECESSARY TO ACHIEVE THE CORRECT OPTIMUM VISOR FITMENT. ALL ARAI BASE PLATES ARE DESIGNED TO GIVE FINE ADJUSTMENT OF THE VISOR  SIMPLY BY SLACKENING OFF THE RETAINING SCREWS AND MOVING THE PLATES – PLEASE REFER TO YOUR HELMET INSTRUCTIONS MANUAL.

These are single curve race visors fitted with tear off posts to allow tear off films to be mounted (Bob Heath part no.T003)

The visors are available in four options, clear, light smoke tint, dark smoke tint and clear anti fog. Please select which colour you require from the option list .

The visors are all BSI approved and fully U.K. road legal apart from the dark tint option which is sold for off road use only as they are not certified for U.K. public road use.

The clear visors give give 97 % U.V. light protection and the smoke tint visors give 100 % U.V. light protection.

Made in the U.K. by Bob Heath visors Ltd from 2.0mm thick Lexan polycarbonate, all of these visors have an abrasion resistant coating on both sides apart from the clear and light smoke tint anti fog options, which have an anti fog coating over the inner surface of the visor and an abrasion resistant coating on the outer surface.

Tinted visors are recommended for daytime use only and are stamped as such as per the BSI standard requirement.

The visors are not pin lock ready, (no pin lock pins fitted).
